We are one team!

We work together with heart and mind every day to give our best. We are especially proud of our apprentices, because they are our future—this is why we challenge and support them.

Currently, we employ over 400 apprentices and trainees across 14 different apprenticeship programs.
In 2023, 188 apprentices were hired, including 156 in sales and 32 in administration.

Attractive career opportunities in retail

In cooperation with the German Retail Association (Handelsverband Deutschland, HDE), Woolworth is committed to clearly communicating the diversity of training and career opportunities in retail as well as the attractiveness of the various professions. On www.jetztschonprofi.de the HDE—together with 17 companies from different retail sectors—provides information about the prospects and opportunities that come with vocational training.

At Woolworth, school leavers of all educational backgrounds, students, and parents can learn about the wide range of opportunities within our company. We offer thirteen different training and development programs nationwide. Discover our apprenticeships, programs for high school graduates, dual study programs, and advanced training options for those who have already completed an apprenticeship. But the journey doesn’t end after training—it can truly begin here.
