Trainee program

Our Trainee Program

Have you completed your studies and are ready to start your professional career? Our trainee programs prepare you step by step to take on a responsible and future-proof position. This allows you to develop individually and gain insights into exciting areas of work.

As a trainee, you’ll have the opportunity to start in a wide range of departments, such as Purchasing, Real Estate Development, Internal Audit, Controlling, Sales Support, Human Resources, and more.
The trainee program can start year-round, depending on demand.
The duration varies depending on the department and target position.
To qualify for a trainee position, you should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or have initial professional experience in the relevant field.
In addition, you enjoy working in retail, are a team player with strong communication skills, and bring a healthy level of initiative and personal responsibility.

Working student

Working Student at Woolworth

As a working student, you’ll have the opportunity to work in one of our many diverse departments.
You should be at least in your third semester and plan to continue your studies for at least one more year.
Your working hours can be scheduled flexibly, taking your class timetable and the departments’ service hours into account.
Our HR development team stays in regular contact with our working students.
After a short onboarding period, you’ll have the opportunity to take on your own areas of responsibility.
And if you wish, we’ll be happy to include you in our student retention program.
